PP LYDIA C. KING IS CONFERRED DEGREE OF DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY
LYDIA C. KING, BAIPhil Past President FY2008-2009, finished her Post Graduate Studies with the degree Doctor of Philosophy in Organization Development at the SOUTHEAST ASIA INTERDISCIPLINARY DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE (SAIDI). She has also earned course credits in Ph.D. in Business Administration (Online Program) of the University of Phoenix, Arizona U.S.A.. She obtained her MBA at the ATENEO GRADUATE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS (ABSB) and her Baccalaureate degree (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Major in Marketing) at the University of the Philippines - Diliman.
Dr. King was former First Vice President for Information Technology of Banco de Oro Universal Bank and currently Faculty Chair for Information Technology at AGSB. She is also a professor of Information Technology, Electronic Commerce, Information Security and Management Dynamics at the AGSB.

I am pleased to announce the appointment in the Ateneo Graduate School of Business of
MRS. LYDIA C. KING
as Faculty Chair for the Information Technology (IT) Cluster vice Dr. John Paul Vergara beginning 1 April 2010.
Mrs. King has been a member of the AGSB Faculty since 2000. She handles courses on Infote, e-Commerce, Management Dynamics and Principles of Management. She is currently completing her doctoral program in Organization Development at the Southeast Asia Interdisciplinary Development Institute (SAIDI). She has also earned course credits in Ph.D. in Business Administration (Online Program) of the University of Phoenix, Arizona, U.S.A. Lydia C. King, First Vice President – Information Technology of Banco de Oro (BDO) has been elected President of the Bankers Institute of the Philippines (BAIPhil) for FY 2008-2009. Ms. King has an MBA from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business (AGSB) and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Degree from the University of the Philippines. She is a Professor of Information Technology, Electronic Commerce, Information Security and Management Dynamics at AGSB.

Ms. Lydia C. King, First Vice President of Banco de Oro, has been presented the Leadership and Life Sustaining Membership Awards during the Induction of Officers, Directors and Committee Chairpersons of Banker’s Institute of the Philippines (BAIPhil) for FY 2009-2010 held on July 15, 2009 at Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Makati City, with Gov. Amando M. Tetangco of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas as inducting officer and guest speaker.
Ms. Susan A. Uranza, BAIPhil President FY 2009-2010, gave the Leadership award to Ms. King for her outstanding leadership, selfless dedication and extraordinary achievement of the goals and objectives of the Institute during her term as President for FY 2008-2009.
For her exemplary leadership and distinguished career in banking characterized by sound direction, competent executive management, integrity, strength of character, practical wisdom and mature judgment essential to effective decision-making, the Life Sustaining Membership was conferred to Ms. King.
